Le Titien - L'homme au gant

Voilà pourquoi on appelle ce chef d'œuvre "L'homme au gant". On suppose, en général, que le personnage peint par Titien serait le diplomate génois, Girolamo Adorno, ambassadeur de Charles Quint auprès de la République de Venise, mort à trente-trois ans en 1523.
